Have a blast and raise money for El Grupo at Headless Hunt ride

For the ninth straight year, El Grupo Youth Cycling is hosting their Headless Hunt bicycle scavenger hunt, which takes place on Sunday, October 28.

The Headless Hunt has traditionally been El Grupo’s biggest fundraising event.  El Grupo is a non profit youth cycling team that aims to get young people out and active on bicycles.

This year’s scavenger hunt starts and ends at Playground Bar starting at 9 a.m. Riders must compete in duos or teams of three or more. There is also a shorter option for families.

Participants will be given a map and riddles and must race around downtown solving the riddles. Once all the riddles have been solved the racers will return to Playground. The teams with the fastest times will win handmade trophies and prizes.

The main ride with be about 15-25 miles in distance, while the family event will be about 5-8 miles.

Participants will also be eligible to win other prizes.

Entry is $30 per individual or $45 for families of four.
