  1. The little Comments box in the righthand column shows someone using the nick “Bonnie” posting a comment to this post that includes a link to a Craigslist item. I would guess that was some relevant, possibly important information at one time (that listing has since been deleted). Too bad it got stuck where ever some comments get lost here.

If it’s what I think it is, in a case like this manual approval may have proven too late to help. Ever consider unchecking the “Before a comment appears” settings, Mike? The Akismet plug-in is actually really good at catching spam. I don’t have a high traffic site like this, but I’ve never had a false hit either way.

Just something to think about. Not trying to be a bossy a-hole.

  2. StrawHousePig  I think it’s related to LiveFyre, actually. I don’t actually manually approve the comments they should just appear. I may have to switch back to something else as annoying as that is.

  3. StrawHousePig  Didn’t think you were trying to be a bossy a-hole either! Thanks for reading and I’ll spend some time getting it sorted.

  4. MikeMcKisson StrawHousePig  Oh snap! Didn’t even consider the 3rd party comment system. So much for my big ideas.

Well, everything you do is appreciated.
