Tucson bike commuting has risen by 75 percent since 2007 according to the most recent American Community Survey data released by the US Census Bureau.

The ACS asks people how they get to work in the majority of days in the previous weeks, which means people who bike commute two days a week will not be represented in the bike commuter category.

  1. Wow that is a big jump from 2012 to 2013, looks like 20-25% increase year on year. I’d be curious to know what caused that.
