A 33-year-old woman was killed after being struck by a motorist on Saturday night.

According to a press release from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Lea Molina, was walking on the southbound side of Camino de Oeste near Corona Avenue when she was struck by a sedan.

The car was driven by Guadalupe Villalobos, 69.

According to the release, both Molina and Villalobos were intoxicated at the time of the crash. Molina died Sunday morning.

Villalobos was charged with a DUI and additional charges may be added following the conclusion of the investigation.
