Tucson’s Epic Rides is taking their mountain bike party to Carson City Nevada the event organizer announced Wednesday at Interbike.

The Carson City Off-Road is the third race in the series and will take place during the third week of June.

Epic Rides’ President Todd Sadow said he can’t wait to show off Carson City’s trails. Carson City is 30 miles from Reno and near the shores of Lake Tahoe.

“The trails are ridiculously good,” Sadow said. “It’s a heck of a venue.”

Sadow said the city is pulling out all the stops to make the event a blast including removing the open-container laws in downtown Carson City for the weekend.

Sadow said the race can pull in people from Northern California, Utah, Oregon and of course Nevada and that adding the third race makes the “Off-Road” races a “bonafied” race series.

Here’s what Nevada’s Governor had to say about the event in a press release:

“The Epic Rides Off-Road Series is the perfect opportunity to introduce Carson City’s incredible recreation opportunities to mountain bike enthusiasts and fans of the great outdoors. With its fresh air, amazing views and direct access to pristine Lake Tahoe, Nevada’s capitol city provides the perfect setting for this world-class event,” said Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval. “I would like to thank Epic Rides for selecting Nevada and look forward to the festivities surrounding the 2016 inaugural ride.”
