Bicyclist in need of lights will have an opportunity to receive one of 300 sets that will be given away on Feb 18.
The City of Tucson Bicycle and Pedestrian Program, Living Streets Alliance, and the Pima Association of Governments have teamed up for the event, which will be held at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Dakota Street.
Liberty Avenue is a planned bike boulevard on Tucson’s south side.
The event starts at 5 p.m. and goes until the 300 lights have all been handed out.
Arizona law requires a front light and at least a rear reflector, but a rear blinky light is considered a better option.
