The Fox Theater gained a piece of functional art this week.
Cyclists heading to the theater will see a custom-made bike rack in the shape of a movie projector.
Tucson’s bike and pedestrian program manager said city crews installed the rack early this week.
“There might be an education challenge because people might not realize it is a bike rack,” she said. “It is functional art.”
What other places have unique bike racks? Beyond Bread on Oracle Road has racks in the shape of high-wheel bikes. Anywhere else?
