The only thing that made the cut from Sarah Zidonik’s old bike when she moved from Gainesville, Florida to Tucson, was the milk crate.
Zidonik said she wanted to move as lightly as possible so she sold her old bike, but kept the crate. She got this bike two years ago when she moved here to start graduate school in the studio arts program at the University of Arizona.
She said riding around Tucson is pretty similar to Gainesville, but the roads are in worse shape and after falling on the trolley tracks, she is terrified of riding around them.
I have this bike. And this dairy crate!
Your bike has a doppelgänger!
I’m not real happy with biking around the trolley tracks either, but I wouldn’t change 4th Avenue for anything so I’m just careful where and how I cross the tracks.
