For the second year, BICAS is organizing the “Hottest Day of the Year” ride and pool party.

The event starts at 9 a.m. at BICAS on Saturday, June 27 for a light breakfast. Then BICAS will lead a 14-mile ride with “cool stops” and finish at the Menlo Park pool for swimming and lunch, which includes Sonoran hottdogs, eegees drinks and beer.

Here’s what they say about the ride:

BICAS will be hosting its second Hottest Day of the Year Benefit Bike Ride and Pool Party on Saturday June 27th. The easy paced ride is fun for the whole family and will begin at BICAS at 9am for a light breakfast, and then ride south onto the Santa Cruz River bike trail, looping around the car-free path for a 14 mile ride and end around 1pm at the Menlo Park pool for lunch of Sonoran dogs, also veggie options, local Dragoon Brewing brew, Eegees and more!

The cost is $25 for adults, $15 for kids or $50 for a family.
