Local cycling advocates are asking the biking community to turn out for a bail hearing tomorrow morning.
According to advocates Brendan Lyons and Damion Alexander, the driver accused of hitting and killing two cyclists, while intoxicated, is seeking a lower bail.
Here’s the court calendar for tomorrow:
I’m certainly hoping for high bail or no bail at all. This man is a danger to all of us until he can get substance abuse treatment.
Any word on whether the families of the victims and the survivors are suing Scott Roofing? Scott Roofing was the employer of this intoxicated driver, and he was in a work truck at the time of the collision (“accident,” if you’re a KUAZ anchor).
