The City of Tucson’s director of transportation has his own personalized bike parking space outside the public works building in downtown Tucson.

Tucson’s bike and pedestrian program manager, Tom Thivener, said he wasn’t sure of the sign’s history, but thought someone in the streets department probably added it for fun.

  2. That’s awesome! I have one of those too. Sort of. Only TWO of us use the 9-bike bike-rack out of a crew of about 500.
