Saturday’s Flagstaff Frenzy wrapped up the MBAA race series for 2012, and Tucson riders took top honors in more than one category.

Zachary Keller, TJ Woodruff and Kyle Colavito on the podium.

Full results are available here, but here are some of the local highlights:

Pro Men
Local rider and coach, TJ Woodruff of Momentum Endurance, placed first, finishing seven minutes ahead of his nearest competitor.
Kyle Colavito of Bicycle Haus Racing, also from Tucson, placed third.

Category 1 Men
John Beck, Woodruff’s teammate, took first in Cat 1 Men Open.
Daryll McKenzie, riding for Oro Valley Bicycles, placed first in Cat 1 Men 45+.

Category 2 Men
Charlie Roach of Tucson placed second.

Category 1 Women
Oro Valley Bicycles rider, Beth Utley, took first place.

It was a beautiful weekend in the mountains, and many riders felt that the perfect weather for this race (almost) made up for the Prescott race being canceled due to snow.

Riders are already looking forward to next season. Results from all the 2012 races are available at the MBAA website.

There are some photos from the race below.
