I was really excited this weekend when Luci wanted to help work on my new bike.
She is a chip off the old block!
True story: When I was about the same age as Luci, I’d try to help my father work on the family car.
Mind you, this was back during the 1950s, and little girls weren’t supposed to be interested in such things.
Too bad. I was interested. So, I hung around my father as he worked on the car.
Working on bicycles came later. And it remains as one of the great joys of my life.
