Last weekend I rode to Grant Davis and Laura Varela’s ghost bikes as part of Tucson Velo’s project to photograph each ghost bike in Pima County.

Join us for a ride tomorrow to three ghost bikes on the east side. Ride details are here.

Check out the map and photos below to see the newest ghost bikes that were added to the map and gallery.

  1. There is one on Euclid between Grant and Speedway, and also one on Speedway just West of Euclid, near the church on the corner… just off the top of my head.

  2. If you want a long ride, and still be in Pima County:
There is a ghost bike in Green Valley, AZ, on Desert Bell Rd. ( about half a mile north of Esperanza) where Jerome Featherman was struck and killed by a car Sept. 3, 2009.

  5. I am particularly grateful to the businesses that the Laura Varela bike is in front of, including Famous Sam's, for letting that bike stay and for even making sure the landscaping is carefully done around it.

Looks like it needs some touch-up paint, as does the Andrea Ligas bike on First between Speedway and Grant.
