Thursday is the final Everyday Biking count and this month the furry bicyclists among us get the nod.

In honor of Movember, People for Bikes, the advocacy group who created the Everyday Biking challenge, is counting cyclists with beards.

As it turns out Tucson is neck and neck with Memphis for the title and Living Streets Alliance is hoping Thursday’s count will give Tucson the edge even if only by a whisker.

The count will take place on Thursday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Seventh Street. Both Exo Coffee and Tap and Bottle are providing discounts to bearded cyclists during the count.
