Chico the dog is no stranger to riding in Tucsonan Jack Allen’s pannier. He’s been doing it for eight years — since he was a puppy.
As for Allen, he’s been riding since he was a boy and never really stopped. Now he and his wife use their bikes as transportation when they take their motor home on vacation.
He says they set up camp and use the bikes for shopping or sightseeing.
They’ll be heading out to the Southern Oregon coast soon and will be bringing along their folding bikes to get around.
Chico will join them, of course.
I’m pretty sure that I’ve met this couple with their dog. The dog is beautifully behaved.
