A bike vigil for the victims of Saturday’s shooting will be held Tuesday evening,

The ride, which was organized by Tucson Pedaler publisher Damion Alexander, will meet at 6:50 p.m. on the west side of Old Main on the University of Arizona campus.

According to the official Facebook event page, there will be a ride through campus to UMC where cyclists will stop to light candles and then return to Old Main in time for those who also want to attend the Tuesday Night Bike Ride.

  1. I used to work for the federal court system in Phoenix, now in Miami, FL. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the Chief Judge, and the other victims. I’m with you in Tucson on my bike, in spirit. Please light a candle for me.

  2. Very nice idea. I really wish there would have been more lead time for the bike vigil. I would have really liked to participate. Maybe another one can be organized with more notice and not squeezed in before a Tuesday night ride?
