I received word this morning from Tucson Velo reader Patrick B. that a portion of the Third Street/University bikeway is closed.
Patrick said he usually rides to campus along Third Street, but said the road was closed between Campbell and Cherry Avenues.
I have not seen an announcement about the closure, but will call the University’s transportation office to find out why the road is close and for how long.
In the mean time use an alternative route like Elm or Seventh Street.

I know it’s summer and all, but the UofA makes it incredibly difficult to cycle through campus mid May-August…
