In a special meeting scheduled for tomorrow, the Tucson Pima County Bicycle Advisory Committee’s facilities subcommittee will revisit a motion that gave added priority to bike boulevards.

The motion they are reviewing was passed by TPCBAC at their special meeting in March.

The agenda for the special meeting, which is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:30 a.m., also includes several other interesting items including stimulus recommendations, re prioritizing infrastructure lists and construction standards.

TPCBAC said in their last meeting that they would like to have more participation and input from the public in their subcommittee meetings. This would be a good one to attend if you care about bicycle infrastructure in Tucson.

The meeting will be held on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the PBAA offices located at 2609 E. Broadway Blvd.

  1. What does that mean exactly–‘revisit the motion’?
    Are they going to make a counter-motion;
    challenge the motion or generally
    poo-poo the motion?
