The Arizona Trail Association dedicated a section of the Arizona Trail to Gabe Zimmerman, an aide to Gabrielle Giffords who was killed in the Jan. 8 shooting.
Zimmerman was an avid hiker and Giffords is an avid cyclist.
The Arizona Trail is popular with mountain bikers. The section of trail dedicated to Zimmerman is located in the Cienega Creek Natural Preserve.
