In an effort to raise money for their trip to a junior mountain bike development camp at Fort Lewis College, El Grupo is hosting a rummage sale at their clubhouse located at Sixth Avenue and Sixth Street. The sale starts at 7 a.m. on Saturday.
El Grupo’s coach Ignacio Rivera de Rosales said they have raised $2,000, but need another $2,000 to cover the costs of the trip.
Items for sale include complete bikes, bicycle clothes and various parts. The clubhouse sale isn’t limited to bike items, they will also have backpacks, lawn chairs, coffee tables, computers and much more.
You can also donate items for them to sell on Friday from 3-5 p.m.
I couldn't find the El Grupo clubhouse at 6th and 6th. Where exactly is it?
Shoot. I should have been more specific. The clubhouse is on the southwest corner or 6th and 6th in with the galleries. There is a big blue metal door that faces 6th street.
I thought they would have has signs out directing people there.
