A friend sells raffle tickets at the GABA Bike Swap.

Friends and family of There and Back Bikes owner Steve Vihel have launched a website devoted to raising money for Vihel’s medical expenses.

Lila Garcia said it took a while to get a non-profit donation page set up through the hospital, but it’s now ready to accept donations.

In addition to the donations, friends are organizing a bicycle raffle to help raise money and are participating in a “No Shave November” mustache growing contest to raise money.

The site, heartforsteve.org, outlines how people can help and includes where and when they will be selling raffle tickets.

You can purchase raffle tickets at tonight’s screening of “With my Own Two Wheels.” The winner, who will be announced at a Bike to Work breakfast, will receive a Linus Roadster Sport 3-Speed bicycle.

Vihel, who had a congenital heart defect and received a total artificial heart replacement on October 1, is currently in the hospital trying to get healthy enough for a heart transplant.

Check out the site and see how you can help.
